It’s All In The Palm
Artificial Palm TreesAre you looking for a unique tree as the focal point to your décor? Then consider the distinctive flare of an artificial Fishtail Palm tree. These artificial palm trees are sure to capture your heart with hundreds of ridged tipped leaves that sprawl outwards from a sturdy, rugged trunk for support.

I’ll bet you are now wondering exactly what makes this tree so unique? It begins with the nickname ‘fishtail’ due to the jagged or chopped shape of the leaves that resembles, you guessed it, fishtails. Palm Tree Sizes and Purposes

Palm Tree Sizes and Purposes

Let me make one thing clear, the silk palm trees referenced as the most popular in this blog series will be the ones available on my website of course.  Any others mentioned are just as a matter of reference. With that being said, let’s get started with identifying the best size palm or palms for your specific needs.  Oh, by-the-way, if you notice that I make reference to every palm tree as my favorite, that’s because I love palm trees.  Today, let’s look at what sizes are available and their general uses.
The smaller artificial palm trees available today are typically used for tabletops, pedestals, or stands, in other words, you’ll sit them on something.  These palm trees are usually less than 2 feet tall.  Floor plants are usually 2 to 4 feet tall and work well on a table, in an entryway or reception area that has a limited amount of space, this too, will depend on the type of palm chosen.   Now for the trees, oh the trees, start at 5 feet tall and depending on the species, it can be tall and narrow or tall and lush.  Of course, you will find more choices available in trees than plants.  These are just guidelines, however depending on the impact you’d like to make, you can select an array of sizes and place them wherever you feel necessary to meet your needs.  The smaller tabletop palms can be strategically placed around a room or area to blend and mingle with the floor plants and trees.  Don’t’ forget to team your selection with decorative planters to complete the presentation.
